This is the final part of our annual Women in Hip-Hop Spectacular for Word is Bond Rap Radio.
It features two episodes of Know Your History. The first one takes a close look at Nina Simone’s Four Women, a rap remake / sequel, and some songs that sampled it. The second episode looks close at the year 1982 and all the female voices you could hear rapping that year.
Plus, we have DJ Harley Beretta providing a dope mixset of some golden era boom-bap.
