Today is International Women’s Day.
We marked the occasion this week on Word is Bond Rap Radio by dedicating the entire night of programming to the Women in Hip-Hop.
It was out 9th Annual Women in Hip-Hop Spectacular, and it featured eight hours of great music and talk focusing on hip-hop’s better half.
Today, we kick off the first of four podcast specials. This one features an all-female music mix by DJ Chase March with some great boom-bap artists and a roundtable with three Canadian emcees; Skulastic, Cassette, and Raxx. It was a great discussion that touched on a variety of topics and issues.
