MacGregor Point Provincial Park is located at 1593 Bruce Road 33 in Port Elgin, ON. Canada.
There are several trails that you can run or bike on here. However, you have to pay a day-use fee to access the park.
If you don’t want to pay the day fee, you can make your way to the Old Shore Road Trail by driving down Bruce Saugeen Townline and following the dirt road to the end. There, you can park your car and access the trails for free.
I wanted to run the 3.5 km Tower Trail but had to run a little further to make that loop.
It was a few kilometers in before I made it this far. I turned right on Kempf’s Trail and it connected up to the Tower Trail.
This trail includes boardwalks
and loops around the Ducks Unlimited Canada Wetland.
All along the way, there are information placards like this one.
I took the above wetland photo from atop this observation tower.
I had a great run this afternoon and covered roughly 10 kilometers. If you want to run just the tower trail, there is another entrance to it before you get to the end of the dirt road.
