The Wordburglar Strikes Again

Wordburglar Concert Review

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of being part of a phenomenal hip-hop concert. The show was a co-headlining event with Timbuktu (of Swamp Thing) and Wordburglar. It was presented by DWG Entertainment and hosted at The Rec Room in London, Ontario, Canada.

Here is one of the highlights of the night.

It’s rare to Timbuktu perform solo these days. This song is available exclusively on The MIX(ed)TAPE that DJ Hullewud and I released two years ago. The second volume of the series is out now and both are available as a free download or stream.

Chief Chills was one of the opening acts and it was a pleasure to spin the tracks for his raps.

I even got to perform my latest song and do a bit of cutting live.

Next up, Sum-01 and DJ Hullewud delivered a solid set with fierce rhymes and smooth cuts.

Dreamsters Union with members Kyle Kanevil, Mad Hattr, and Ladyface rocked the crowd.

They were also joined by London, Ontario veteran, Ngajuana and backed by the DJ Hullewud.

Two DJs, and Two MCs. TempoMental and Ngajuana belted out some amazing songs.

Then, Timbuktu took to the stage and set the place on fire.

Finally, Wordburglar brought the witty rhymes, clever wordplay, and dance moves to stage.

He even brought back Timbuktu to perform some of the songs they’ve done together over the years.

And he gave praise to the DJ.

It was a great show at amazing venue and I was very proud to be part of it.
