Having a detailed plan for your wedding is essential.

I created this one to make sure everything is thought of when it comes to the music. It contains valuable information for both the wedding DJ and the couple and allows them to be on the same page about all the important moments in the wedding day.

I created it using an online resource by the name of Canva. It is a great program for creating all sorts of designs in various mediums. I wanted something that couples could make edits to and revisit again and again. They can also share this design with other people so they can collaboratively work on completing it. If a couple would rather have a printed out version, I can customize the front page and then send it as a PDF.

As an alternative, I have also created a Google Docs version.

When a client books me to be their wedding DJ, I send them a contract and the above planning form. This gives me all the essential information I need to about the big day and multiple ways of contacting them.

The full planning document gets into a lot more detail about all the different aspects of the day.

It’s always nice to have a point of contact for the actual wedding day. There might be something that comes up and it may be hard to find the bride or groom. If I can contact another family member like a parent or sister, it can really help.
