Bluey is an amazing television show, so being able to immerse yourself in this incredible world is very compelling. Fortunately, there are some great video games that will help you do just that.
Bluey Online
The official bluey website has some free games that you can play in your browser. It even has ideas for games you can play in your own home based on the show.
Bluey – Let’s Play
This iPad app is fun for kids who enjoy the show. Unfortunately, most of the content is stuck behind a pay wall. And it is expensive. $10 a month can add up if your kids keep playing it. Just imagine paying that monthly bill for two years (I don’t have to, I pretty much have).
Bluey: The Video Game
I bought a Nintendo Switch just so I could play this game. I love how it looks just like the television show. In fact, you even get animated scenes with the real voice actors. It feels like you are totally immersed in the world of Bluey. It can even support 4 players so you can each be one of the main characters.
This is a fun game but there is a new one that completely blows it out of the water.
Bluey’s Quest for the Gold Pen
This game feels like an episode of the television series. It starts with the Heeler family sitting around the table and drawing a story together. It’s pretty much an extension of “Dragon” where the characters draw themselves into a story on the show.
This game is so cute, but it is also challenging. You have to solve problems, find items, collect things, and explore different lands.
The game is available for iPad at the great cost of $15.
It is coming to Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox later this month.
My son and I have been playing the iPad edition, but I plan on buying it for the Switch as well. It is a really great game.
There are few other options available too but I haven’t checked them out. Apparently, Just Dance 2026 has a Bluey mode. And Nex Playground is a new console that uses a camera to track your movements so you can interact with the games. It looks like it is subscription based too, but it might be a good option for toddlers and younger players.
Have fun immersing yourself in the world of Bluey – my all-time favourite show!
