I had been patiently waiting for Facebook to review my appeal and let me back on their platform. It had been over a month though so I thought that maybe I should blog about it to see if that helps.

Two days later, they let me back in.

Coincidence?

It seemed to me that they didn’t like me sharing my own music. The ban came immediately after I shared my album via direct message with a fellow DJ.

But when I logged back on, I also saw this . . .

Apparently, my post that tried to get people to come on to a local concert was marked as phising?

What!?!?!?

Facebook baffles me a lot of the time. I see horrible insensitive posts, graphic content, and false information frequently. That stuff seems to stick around. But I have had many musician friends get into trouble and banned for spreading the word about their music and shows.

It makes no sense.

But, I am back. For now.
