Amerigo Gazaway is our special guest for the latest edition of Access. It is our special way of expanding a live radio interview into the realm of video and offering fans some behind the scene footage and conversation.
Amerigo Gazaway is an incredible artist who has dropped some classic projects. His specialty is creating cohesive projects between artists who never had the chance to work together.
He calls it the “Soul Mates” series, and it moves way beyond mash-ups. He doesn’t simply take an instrumental and throw an accapella over it. He reconstruct beats, layers sounds on top of each other, and makes sure that it sounds like something both artists would have released.
If you haven’t heard of this guy, do yourself a favour and click play on the video above. Then go to his bandcamp page and download all of the goodness!
Access Interview Archive – over a dozen great in-depth interviews from hip-hop’s finest!
Access is a special segment of Our Show on 91.5 WPRK in Winterpark, Florida.
It’s live and interactive radio where we interview all sorts of hip-hop artists and interesting people in the music business.
And through the power of the Internet, I am able to be on the show quite regularly without ever having to leave the country. I’m repping Canada on the American radio waves when Conshus and I tag team interviews. It’s always a lot of fun.
This page will serve as the archive of the shows we do this year. Please bookmark it and come back often.
We run live video before we actually get started on the radio waves so the start of the videos may seem a little disorganized, but stick with them and you will hear real conversations based around hip-hip music and culture.

Bishop Nehru is a talented emcee and our special guest for this edition of Access. It’s live and interactive radio.
I reworked this video interview into a radio show that you might have already heard. If not, you can press play on the video below, or swing over to The Word is Bond to check the audio podcast.
Enjoy the show!
88 HIPHOP was definitely ahead of its time. It was one of the first Internet hip-hop shows.
When it started, I wasn’t even online at the time. It began as a radio show that was available through the phone lines only. It quickly moved to video and had some very historic broadcasts since its 1996 debut.
Today, we talk to the founder of the hip-hop media conglomerate. Without further ado, here is our interview with Randy of 88 HIPHOP.
Pharoahe Monche will be our special guest for this week’s live and interactive radio show.
This program is a partnership between Our Show, Kevin Nottingham, The Word is Bond, DOPEfm, and Silent Cacophony.
Conshus runs the segment live on the radio in Florida on 91.5 WPRK and I join him via the magic of Google Hangouts. You can listen to the show online or watch the visual stream right here on this very page. We have a lot of fun tag-teaming these interviews for you.
One of the coolest things about how we run the program is the bonus content we deliver via the live video feed. When we play a song over the airwaves, we continue our discussion behind the scenes. And you are privy to it all. We basically hang-out and discuss hip-hop, artistry, song-writing, and anything else that comes up.
I hope to see you all there this weekend when Pharoahe Monch joins us.
We get started at 5:30 EST TODAY (Saturday March 1st)
This week, just ahead of International Women’s Day, we have one of the most talented rappers in the game joining us for the radio program.
Jean Grae will be our special guest and we will talk to her about her music, her books, her television series, and all things hip-hop. We will also be spinning some of her great music.
You can catch the show live in the Orlando, Florida area on your radio dial at WPRK 91.5. If you don’t live in the area, you can watch the behind the scenes footage from the Our Show website.
You can ask questions via the chat box as well. This is live and interactive radio at its finest.
Don’t miss it!
We get started at 5:30 p.m. EST on Saturday!
