Last week on the radio, I took it back 30 years. I didn’t spin new tunes on the control vinyl. No Serato this time. Instead, I pressed play on a cassette tape that I recorded off the radio.
Mastermind Street Jam as broadcast on Energy 108 (107.9 fm) in Canada., thirty years ago this week.
I cut most of the talking out of this one. But that’s because I liked rocking with these shows like they were mixtapes. I would bump them over and over again in my Walkman. I wish I did a better job at preserving Hip Hop history, because these shows are truly that. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have over the years!
