Thanksgiving is one of my favourite times of the year. I love having the opportunity to reflect on all of the good things in my life, to sit down and have a great dinner with my loved ones, and to share a little cheer.
Diana is an amazing woman. She’s understanding, kind, supportive, and shows her love for me every day. I don’t know what I did to deserve her.
Not everyone has access to clean water. I am thankful that I can drink the water that comes out the tap and that I can drive to a nearby beach to have a swim.
I love being able to share music with a receptive audience. Deejaying on the radio, at rap concerts, karaoke, and special events is a lot of fun.
A Healthy Attitude
Some people have a hard time at holidays and it affects them so much that they can’t stop to enjoy the moment. I’m not sure why I tend to have a healthy attitude, but I am very thankful for it.
I love running through a trail and having the sounds of the city fade away around me. It gives me time to think and reflect, much like this time of year. I have never meditated, but I think this is my own form of meditation.
I still skateboard and can’t imagine ever giving it up. I love being able to glide across the concrete, to soar over ramps, and to spend some time with my son doing so.
It’s nice to have a place to come home to every night, a driveway to park in, food in the cupboards, and all the other pleasures that come from having a house.
However you are celebrating (or not) . . .
I hope you can take a moment to reflect on your blessings and the great things in your life. We all have something to be thankful for.
