Glen Rouge Trail – Toronto
I had a good run through the Rouge Park Trails late in the summer and have been meaning to share the experience with you for a few months. The trail head starts just outside of Glen Rouge Campground in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. There is free parking there as well. I love being able to run…

St Clair River Trail (Corunna, ON)
The St. Claire River Trail is part of the larger Great Lakes Waterfront trail. Only portions of it run alongside the river. There are sections of the trail that detour onto neighbouring streets. My run took me from the First Nation community, Aamjiwnaang, all the way to the small town of Corunna. I went for…

The Dow Wetlands (Sarnia, ON)
The Dow Wetlands is located at the corner of LaSalle Road and Highway 40 in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. Today, I decided to go for a run around the trail there. There are plenty of places to take in the natural beauty of the wetland and enjoy a picnic. The trail runs alongside five ponds and…

Iroqouis Skatepark – Whitby
Iroqouis Skatepark is a colourful cement-based park in Whitby, Ontario. It is located at the Iroquois Park Sports Centre in Whitby, Ontario, Canada. I had the pleasure of skateboarding there a few weekends back. Here is a brief tour of the park. The art in this park is very well done. Here is one of…

Cosplaying at Fan Expo
We had fun dressing up as fictional characters this past weekend at Fan Expo Canada in Toronto, Ontario. I wasn’t sure my Arthur Dent cosplay was going to work. I was really excited to try it out though since this year I turned 42 years old. It just added an extra layer of meaning to…

Medway Forest Trail (London, ON)
Medway Forest Trail is a great place to run in London, Ontario, Canada. I started today’s run at Western University and ran for five kilometers. It’s quiet back here and the sounds of the city fade away as you get further into the woods. I always love being able to run alongside a river. There…

Fisher-Hallman Skatepark (Kitchener, ON)
There’s a new skatepark in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, and it is nice. Let’s explore it, shall we? It has a large bowl that’s a little difficult to skate, but a lot of fun. There’s a china gap for those who like to get some air, a spine with a railing to grind, a quarter pipe…

Binbrook Skatepark
How cool is it to have a skatepark under a water tower? With a mini ramp that is the perfect size for my abilities? With some cool grind ledges, launch ramps, quarter-pipe transfers, multi-leveled rails, and a spine? This is definitely one of my favourite skateparks. It’s mostly because of the near perfect half-pipe. We need…

Corunna Skatepark (ON, Canada)
Last week I discovered an amazing skatepark close to Sarnia, Ontario. As I drove home from it, I saw this park off in the distance. I immediately took a detour to see what it had to offer. This park is located in the Corunna Athletic Park at 420 Colborne Street. Corunna, ON. This graduated rail…

Aamjiwnaang Skatepark (Sarnia, ON)
This is my new favourite skateboard park. It is located on the Aamjiwnaang First Nation at 1972 Virgil Avenue in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. The ramps are metal and offer a smooth ride. There are plenty of obstacles, some great ramps, and even a dual leveled half-pipe. I wish every skatepark had one of these ramps.…
