How long is forever?

It is an interesting question that preoccupies the minds of Sylvie and Dan. They have been together for ten years and things are good. They have a nice home, jobs they enjoy, twin daughters, and are enjoying a happy marriage. Everything is great, until . . .

They get physicals done and the doctor tells them that they are both incredibly healthy and have the added benefit of good genes. He predicts that Sylvie could easily live to be 102 years old and that they could expect to have another 68 years together.

Dan and Sylvie had never really thought about the amount of time they would have t

ogether. Their marriage vows were always an abstract, romantic concept. Being given this life sentence, so to speak, makes them both think about an enormous future that they hadn’t really considered before.

Sylvie comes up with a great idea to help keep the marriage fresh and spice up the rest of the time they have together. Project: Surprise Me will give them both the chance to do little things that will keep things exciting and fresh. But random surprises turn out not to be the blessing she thought they would be.

It seems as though Dan and Sylvie don’t know each other as well as they thought they did.

I loved the concept of this book and knew I needed to read it. It didn’t disappoint. It was a great read and I am sure you will enjoy it too.
