This is a game that has students exploring random places on Earth using Google Street View. They have to use the clues they gather to determine what part of the world they are in. What a terrific idea!
It’s easy to search for something on Google before giving it any thought. Here’s a great post about why students shouldn’t do that. Making a list of what you know before hand has many benefits.
Larry Ferlazzo shared this excellent site that highlights dozens of instructional strategies. You could take any of these and design a great lesson in minutes.
