My Reading Log of 2022

This will be my eleventh year of keeping a detailed reading log and I have to tell you, it is a lot of work. Not only do I read on average a book a week, I also take notes on what I read. Sometimes I have pages of notes to type at the end of a book. Then I need to format my thoughts into a post or review of some kind.

I seriously thought about quitting this practice, but I kind of enjoy it. I’ve read over 600 books on this journey and it has been cool to share that with all of you. It’s also nice to look back at what I have read from time to time, look for any patterns, and try to see which books stay with me and which ones fade from memory.

If you like reading, maybe you should start a reading log. Or maybe you just want to bookmark this page as it will be updated all year long.

You can also go back and look at the logs from previous years . . .

201220132014201520162017201820192020, and 2021.

I’ve been kicking around the idea of making master lists for each genre too. Perhaps I will do that one day. But not just yet. I have a lot I want to accomplish this year.

So without further ado, here is my reading log for 2022.
