Like you, I feel it's very important we pay tribute to the Veterans who died for us, who fought for us.

It really is important. I'm glad that so many people seem to realize this and participate in the moment.
There is a move right now to make it a Statutory Holiday. I don't think this is a good idea. If it become a holiday, people might not care to observe the moment. It would just become another day off that people take for granted.

Hi Chase .. I watched our Cenotaph Ceremony with my mother today .. it is so important I agree ..

Hi Hilary,
We had a nice ceremony at my school. I think that is really important for the kids to participate in the moment and to help run the assembly. I think if it was just a day off for them that they would lose out on all that.
