It’s Groundhog Day – the day where we trust a small rodent to forecast the weather for the next six weeks.
I wonder what Wiarton Willie will predict today.
If you ever wondered what this day is all about, this infographic is a great starting place.
Happy Groundhog Day!

General Beauregard Lee .. is I think Lenny's cousin – and they spend a lot of time at his house … Great family they have …
But – six more weeks of winter .. I think the General should have another go!!
Have a great weekend .. and isn't Lenny just wonderful …. Hilary
Hi Hilary,
Wiarton Willie predicted an early spring for us. The ironic thing is that I woke up to a winter wonderland. We got 5 cm of snow last night and it's quite cold out.
Hi Lenny,
Thanks for commenting. You know, as a teacher I have been called mom, dad, and even grandma before. Some students call me by another teacher's name occasionally as well. I've been called Mr. Bond before.
Thanks for stopping by and showing us the relation. Very cool!
I hope you enjoy what is left of the winter.
You too, Hilary!
