Green Lantern Season Two: Volume 1 and 2
I don’t know what it is exactly, but Green Lantern has been in a lull for a little while now when it comes to the comics. I couldn’t even remember reading Season One when I picked up these two graphic novels from the public library. That’s mostly because its predecessor wasn’t called that. It was called “Intergalactic Lawman,” which is a little too on the nose.
I slugged my way through this second series and didn’t enjoy the ride. I actually abandoned the second book without finishing it. I’ve never done that with a Green Lantern title before.
I’m not sure I can blame this on the current creative team, but I might wait and take a bit of time off from this title until a new team takes the helm.
