Grateful for Teachers Sharing

Teaching Tips

I found this on Twitter and thought that it was a great idea.

I like the idea of a check-in activity. I also like how it is anonymous. By having students add a sticky note to the board, they don’t have to be afraid to speak out. They can write down whatever they are thinking and everyone gets to contribute to the topic.

The teacher could then look at the responses and lead a classroom discussion. Engaging the class in one topic and having an in-depth discussion can be quite a learning activity.

I also like the topic of this particular question. Recognizing things that we are grateful for is a good practice, and seeing that those things can sometimes change delivers a great message.

Thanks for the great idea, Jessica!
