Outlines suck. Get a good idea for the story and let it take you over. Then write. That’s my favourite way to do it. It keeps it fresh because it let’s you discover the story as you go.

Teachers Should Dress Professionally
Last year, I got belittled on Twitter for suggesting that teachers adhere to a higher level of dress than their students. I won’t back down. I still wear a tie to school at least three times a week. And I never wear jeans. It’s a little thing, but it shows that I take my job seriously and consider the image I am putting forth for my students and the community.
Episode 368 of my radio show started off with a song by Es called “The Do Better Challenge.” That song still resonates with me today. It is something we should all strive for every day.
