All Women’s Voices Day is an annual event for 94.9 CHRW.
For 24 hours, all of the programming on our station is done by women. We do this to recognize The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.
This year’s broadcast starts off with two hours of hip-hop radio hosted by female talent. There are documentaries, panel discussions, and a lot more to look forward to.
I contributed a half hour show for the cause as well. It’s a throwback interview that my daughter did with Eternia about five years ago.
Eternia looks back at the interview and recounts her experience as a rapper and a women in an industry that is dominated by men. She also spins some of her latest material.
It is a great special and runs at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow. I hope you will tune in at some point on Sunday for All Women’s Voice Day on 94.9 CHRW.
