Tomorrow, Saturday May 5th, is Free Comic Book Day. 

It’s an annual event that encourages us all to visit our local comic book shops. There will be all sort of incentives available such as artists signings, contests, and of course, free comic books.

Here is a list of creators and artists you can find at a comic shop near you this weekend.

Stadium Comics in Brampton, Ontario looks like one of the best shops to check out as they will have a dozen creators and artists on hand. There will also be giveaways, raffles, balloons for the kids, several costumed heroes in attendance for photo opportunities, and their biggest sale of the year.

It’s nice to see that there are some big events in Canada this year, but this is a worldwide event so wherever you are, you can find a comic book shop with some amazing deals and you can get a free book with absolutely no strings attached.
