Wow, it’s been a productive year here at Silent Cacophony. As of today, I have posted 214 blog entries this year.
The total number of entries I posted last year = 214.
So, for today only, 2010 = 2009 for the sheer number of blog posts I have published. It’s only August 9th and I’ve already posted as many items as I did last year.
I started this blog way back in March of 2007 and I posted 200 entries that first year.
In my second year of blogging, I posted 250 entries.
I’m sure to break that number this year. I might slow down a bit over the next few weeks as I enjoy what is left of the summer and prepare for some great content this fall for my radio show, DOPEfm.
It’s been a good year. Thanks for coming here to read my words. I appreciate each and every visitor. Please drop a comment from time to time. I always love to hear from readers.

Hi Chase .. I call my blog posts my asset base .. and I've cut back by default really – but it seems to work .. and each of my posts could be broken into usually three sections – that I've linked ..
So it depends on your feel of your life and your future with the blog & its content .. – yours to has lots of alternatives built into it.
Taking a little time out to prepare for the Autumn and enjoy the summer weather will probably do you good .. we all need breaks ..

Hi Hilary,
I often wonder if I should have three separate blogs. One for my personal observations, editorials, and running tours. One solely about hip-hop. And one more about teaching. But all three of these things help define who I am and I like to have them all in one place.
I'm not sure exactly what the future holds in store. All I know is that I'm enjoying what I'm doing and plan to keep it up.
