3 TAKES

I wrote a trio of poems on the same theme “Out of Bounds.” Let me know what you think.

  1. Your final poem reminds me so much of Donne's Good -morrow — slightly different spin, but…

    And now good morrow to our waking souls

    That watch not one another out of fear,

    For fear all love of other sights controls,

    And makes one little room an everywhere… (or at least, that's how I remember it)

    Your "nothing out of bounds" to me seems very much like Donne's "an everywhere."
